Load up a hex editor:

Thing HEX

HP / HP 244 / 248 (type 10 at both area)
STR 273 (type 64 here)
GOLD 256 (type anything here, higher the number,
the more gold you have)

Problem : You could only do this at the start of the
game, I think as the values tends to move at latter
stages of the game.
