New officers:

Successfully complete the tutorials to unlock additional officers. Ten
new officers will be unlocked after the first tutorial. Ten more officers
will be unlocked after four tutorials are completed. Twelve new officers
are unlocked after all tutorials have been completed.


Zhuge Liang:
------------
Play as Lui Bei when Zhuge Liang is an officer in the same city as Lui Bei.
Call a council with Zhuge Liang included and Lui Bei will refer to him as
Kong Ming. Kong Ming is a second name that Zhuge Liang is referred to by
in the actual book the game is based on. He does not seem to be referred
to in this way any other time except the council meetings.


Searching for Items:
--------------------
Searching for items is best done during the early periods of the game. Later
in the game, they will likely already been found by the other factions.

There really is no definite "pattern" in determining a possible successful
search. What is certain, the political abilities of a searching general does
not affect a successful find. Generals with low political abilities surprisingly
seem to be quite capable of finding items, and you may notice that some generals
are better at finding items than others.

Although not definite, it may be better to start searching after you have other
domestic or military tasks. Also, if you have a lot of available action points
(more than 200), sending all your available generals may come up with a result.


Dealing with Bugs:
------------------
The PC version has minor bugs, usually that has to do with crashing. Depending
on what version you have, in my case, it tends to crash in specific NW cities.
Unfortunately, the crash inhibits you to manually exit from the game using the
usual Alt+F4 or Ctrl+Alt+Del.

However, you can exit to windows without actually restarting the game. When the
game crashes, move your mouse around (yes, the mouse can still be moved) until
the default RTK mouse icon changes to your default windows mouse icon, and press
ENTER several times. This move should enable you to exit to windows.

If the mouse icon does not change, try pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and then see if
the mouse icon changes, and repeat the aforementioned.

Successfully complete the game with a female ruler to unlock the corresponding character.
